Boatbuilding Workshop

Portsoy is a northerly Scottish town with an extensive heritage in boatbuilding. PORT is a society which runs boat building workshops throughout the year. Their workshop consists of a leaking sheet roof resting upon ruin walls, our project was to accommodate a boat building workshop and  class area for teaching this craft. My approach was a simple building which took precedent from the context of Portsoy.
