Art Gallery and Archive

Location: Westburn House, Aberdeen, UK

Date: September 2013

As Archibald Simpson’s hidden gem, Westburn House in Aberdeen has been left by the city council to fall into an almost ruined state. The project was to sensitively renovate this house, converting it into a gallery and cafe as well an archive for precious George Washington Wilson photographic glass plates. The existing house was extended to the west.
